The On July 7th 1906 a charter and corporation known as the Snow Show Fire Co. was approved, although in 1915 another charter would be approved with the purpose of preserving life and property of the citizens of Snow Shoe. On September 17th 1942 James Uzzell donated a fire truck to the Fire Co, then on October 19th 1942 Ira Hall with assistance purchased the Lehigh Valley Coal Company office building to serve as the Fire Station. On November 5th the Fire Co. purchases the building making it their own. The Snow Shoe Fire Co. held its first Parade on July 4th, 1911, the Parade has ran the same route threw Snow Shoe ever since. |
